Jason Bett is an experienced public servant, community builder, and communicator. With a career spanning over twenty years, he has held leadership positions in the Canadian Federal Public Service, advising various ministers and senior officials in federal organisations such as Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), Industry Canada, the Office of Canada’s Chief Information Officer and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

Jason is a passionate advocate for a safe and inclusive federal public service and has been leading the employee-led Public Service Pride Network since its establishment in 2018.

He holds a political science degree from the University of Ottawa and received an Award of Excellence  from the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX) in 2020.

Jason is currently Visiting Senior Advisor at the Canada School of Public Service, focusing on 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusion, while also continuing to champion the Public Service Pride Network.
