Abisola Fátókun became the Chief Product and Technology Officer for the Government Digital Service in July 2022. In this role, he is responsible for the digital professions at GDS as well as our Digital Service Platforms. Prior to this Abisola was Director of Strategy at GDS. He comes from a software development background and has a wealth of experience in digital delivery within public and private sector as well as in the tech startup scene in Africa. In government, Abisola has previously worked with GDS’ Service Standards Team (2016) and with the Ministry of Justice Digital & Technology team (2014-16 and 2017-18) where he worked with senior leaders at the Legal Aid Agency, helping them to change to a service-led approach. He has also previously worked at Sky, Accenture and KPMG.
