Ed is the Director of Central Government at Hitachi Solutions, a digital, data, technology consultancy that specialises in Public Sector transformation. He has dedicated his entire career to designing and delivering public digital services and is an advocate of simplicity, transparency and creativity. Prior to joining Hitachi, he spent over a decade in the Civil Service, within the Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Office and more recently as Chief Digital Officer and DDaT Director at the Department for International Trade.
