Laura Adams-Foskett

Laura joined the Ministry of Defence in August 2021 as the Transformation and Programme Director for Defence Medical Services (DMS). In this role, Laura has responsibility for a portfolio of large-scale transformation programmes and organization enablers designed to support the delivery of the DMS long-term strategy. 

Laura joined DMS from a career in Unipart, where she has worked for over 15 years, primarily in their Consultancy division (Unipart Expert Practices) and more recently in Unipart Logistics, where she was the Health Sector Director, with commercial responsibility for the NHS Supply Chain contract. With more than 12 years of experience in Consultancy, Laura has worked with organisations, both public and private sector, to design and deliver a range of Transformation programmes, with a focus on Operational Excellence and cultural change programmes, together with large-scale programme delivery.

Laura is married with two young children and has recently added a puppy to the family. She loves the outdoors and has recently returned to her childhood passion for horse riding. She also enjoys reading, walking and travelling (whenever possible!).
