Olaide Olumide

Olaide is an Adviser for the UK Government and former Commonwealth Youth Ambassador. Her passion for protecting the UK from global threats whilst expanding the UK’s global influence has permitted her to work with senior government officials and international partners on some of the biggest foreign policy and national security problems facing the world today. She is currently a participant on the Civil Service flagship ‘Future Leaders Scheme’, an accelerated development programme for those who have potential to progress to the Senior Civil Service most senior and critical leadership roles.

Olaide is passionate about gender equality and chairs the Women Empowered Network at BEIS where she has pivoted the Network to focus on gender through an intersectional lens. She has recently been recognised as #11 on the Top 100 Future Leaders HERoes Role Models list by Involve UK and Yahoo Finance and named 2021 ‘Emerging Leader Award’ by King’s College London for her work progressing gender equality in the Civil Service and the wider business community.
