About
Tom Taylor is Made Tech’s Head of Central Government. Tom is a public sector technology specialist and leads our work with organisations such as the Ministry of Justice, HMRC and the DVLA delivering large programmes of work to improve digital services for UK citizens.
Tom has been leading digital projects for two decades, with roles spanning delivery, engineering, programme management, commercial and legal. This breadth of experience has proven incredibly valuable for our UK Government clients, where Tom leads our teams to accelerate delivery of digital transformation programmes from procurement right through to live.
Having moved to London from his native New Zealand 10 years ago, Tom is a huge advocate of the UK Government’s approach to digital, pushing clients to embrace the JFDI approach pioneered by GDS of getting modern, user-centred software into the hands of users as quickly as possible. Tom has helped drive major public sector digital transformation projects from critical national infrastructure to cloud migrations and legacy replacement. He is Made Tech’ lead consultant with overall responsibility for success across our Central Government clients.
